Day 1: The Kingdom of Lord Krishna – Dwarka & Bet Dwarka
Your journey begins in the sacred city of Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. The energy here is palpable, filled with devotion and ancient tales.
Morning: Arrival & Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Upon arriving, drive straight towards Dwarka. Before entering the main city, take a detour to the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. It is one of the 12 powerful Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. You can’t miss the colossal statue of Lord Shiva that towers over the temple complex, visible from miles away. The peaceful atmosphere here sets a divine tone for the rest of your trip.

Afternoon: Ferry to Bet Dwarka Next, head to the Okha port to catch a ferry to Bet Dwarka, an island believed to be the original residence of Lord Krishna and his family. The 20-minute ferry ride across the Gulf of Kutch is an experience in itself. It’s a joyful ride with seagulls flocking around the boat, often fed by enthusiastic tourists. Once on the island, visit the main temple which is said to be built on the site of Lord Krishna’s palace. The narrow lanes and old-world charm of the island are captivating.
